Sure, you can debate the decision to make Missouri the No. 8 overall seed, but the committee wants teams to play challenging non-conference schedules
This year's field will feature 68 teams and play will begin with the First Four, four first-round games on Tuesday and Wednesday in Dayton. The NCAA selection committee will start to release the bracket at 6 p.m. ET.

A quick analysis of the regions shows the East and West are the two toughest while the South clearly is the weakest followed by the Midwest.
Big East leads with 9 teams selected. The Big Ten and Big 12 each had six teams and the ACC had five. Mountain West, Atlantic 10 and SEC had four teams.
